Where Discovery and Play Happen Every Day!

Christmas Teacher Appreciation Luncheon
December 3rd 12:00-1:30 pm

Can you believe Christmas is right around the corner? Tis' the season for showing our teachers how much we appreciate them and all they do for our children!

There are several ways to help!

1. Volunteer in the classroom on December 3rd from 12-1:30 pm, while your child's teachers attend the luncheon in their honor. The teachers take turns going to eat but need an extra pair of eyes and hands to help out. Stay the entire 1 1/2 hours or split it with another mom. It can be in your own child's class or another classroom. You must have completed the Chapelwood Volunteer Training to work in the classroom. The nursery will also be available for child care, if needed. Email nursery@chapelwood.org for reservations.

2. We are in need of monetary donations to help in the underwriting of the food and decorations for the luncheon. Please sign up below and give cash or a check to Laura Remkes in the school office by this Friday, November 21st. Please be sure to label the envelope or put in the memo of the check that it is for the Christmas Teachers Luncheon. We appreciate any and all donations!

3. Volunteer on December 3rd to either set-up or clean-up for the luncheon in the Church Parlor.

Please sign-up via the Sign-Up Genius link below. Please let us know if you have any questions by emailing us at kanorris2@comcast.net or amyckuykendall@gmail.com. We appreciate all of your help in making our teachers feel extra loved this time of year!

We are a NAC accredited pre-school with a well-educated and professional staff of Teachers and Assistant Teachers. We serve families with children ages 3 months through Pre-Kindergarten and also offer a Bridge program. Children experience the world around them through learning centers, which provide for different learning styles, and a "hands-on" curriculum, which in turn nurtures their physical, social, intellectual, spiritual and emotional growth.  All of our classes work with a curriculum that ensures each child's developmental readiness for the next level each year. Our Pre-Kindergarten curriculum meets the Texas Pre-K TEKS guidelines for kindergarten readiness.

We follow a traditional school year with classes beginning in early September and ending in late May each year. We also offer a four week Summer camp each year.

Our school day is 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. with a variety of schedules ranging from 2 days a week to 5 days a week depending on the age of your child. We do not offer extended day child care.
